Grand County GOP

Our precinct caucus meetings are scheduled for March 16^th at 7 PM.   I’ve attached the list of precinct chairs and where those caucus meetings will be held.   We have some really exciting candidates running this year and your attendance at your caucus meetings is the first, important step in getting these good guys onto the primary ballot.   Run as a delegate yourself, or know who you’d like to represent you as delegates.  

 At the precinct meetings, each person interested in running as delegate will write his/her name at the front of the room, and then will take the floor for a couple of minutes to express why he/she would be a good delegate to County.  The number of delegates selected from each precinct varies between 5 and 12, depending on voter turnout in ’08.   One delegate from each precinct will also be chosen to go all the way to the State Assembly.  There will be a votes cast by written ballots for both County Delegates and the State Delegate.    Those choosing to be delegates must be aware of the time commitments they are making for the respective assemblies.

 The County Assembly will be held on March 28^th, at 2 PM at the Kremmling High School, and the State Assembly will be May 21^st and May 22^nd at the Budweiser Convention Center in Loveland.  This State Assembly is where final votes are cast to determine which candidates make it onto the primary election ballots for the summer primary elections.
